THE GRAND CHALLENGES

At the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Glasgow City Region’s Intelligence Hub undertook an in-depth analysis of the city region economy and its eight local authority areas. In addition to a range of economic strengths in the city and across the region, it also found a host of longstanding problems, which have been grouped under three Grand Challenges.
